Так говорят. Наверное, врут. Тем более, что карьера каждого – тоже своего рода маленькая история, которая вполне поддаётся копированию. Поэтому, если хочется приложить к чему-нибудь талант, а направление для этого не выбрано – можно шаг за шагом пройти через главные точки профессиональной жизни Jens Thele (Владельца Kontor records). Если всё получится – на выходе тебя ждёт руководство одним из самых популярных танцевальных лейблов Германии, каким и является Kontor records.    (1) Точка первая, но не главная. ПРИЗВАНИЕ.  Jens Thele – родился диджеем. Так говорит он сам. Однако только хорошего владения вертушками ему показалось мало. Стартовал в музыкальном бизнесе в образе продавца пластинок, а в результате, стал во многом знаковой фигурой в танцевальной индустрии. Останавливаться он не собирается, по этому организация собственного лейбла – только начало большой работы. История Kontor records началась в 1996 году. И кажется что это было совсем недавно. Тем не менее, компании скоро исполнится уже 10 лет.  Jens Thele: На тот момент в Гамбурге было много отличных диджеев. И я подумал, что было бы неплохо дать лучшим из них «платформу» для творчества. Лейбл появился на голом энтузиазме спустя пару месяцев после открытия клуба Kontor. Начинать было, конечно, непросто, зато теперь мы можем гордиться нашим успехом!  Во время процветания Интернет-пиратства создание собственного лейбла – бизнес, по общему мнению, не слишком прибыльный. К тому же просто обидно, когда творчество уводят прямо из-под носа. Но с этим ничего не поделаешь, поэтому чтобы компенсировать убытки компании, приходится заниматься ещё и выпуском немузыкальной продукции.  До основания лейбла Jens Thele несколько лет трудился в отделе распространения корпорации Edel, где встретил H. P. Baxxter. С этого началась история Scooter.  Однако, выступлению на сцене, он предпочел полностью окунуться в менеджмент проекта.  Jens Thele: Позже я организовал в Edel лейбл Club tools и продвигал такие группы, как Brooklyn Bounce, Celvin Rotane и No Respect Label. Затем три года работал главным менеджером в Urban Records. За это время благодаря мне мир музыки узнал имена Robert Miles, Nalin & Kane, Nana, Vengaboys и многих других. В середине девяностых, когда опыта было уже достаточно, логичным стало открыть собственную компанию. Чтобы понять, что мы делаем, достаточно послушать сборники “Kontor Top Of The Clubs”, которые выходят четыре раза в год.    (2) Точка вторая, важная. ПОНИМАНИЕ ЦЕЛИ  Kontor records – небольшой независимый лейбл танцевальной музыки, который искренне стремится донести её до большинства людей на планете. У него много партнёров во всём мире, в том числе и в России. Всего в компании около 20 человек, включая тех, кто работает по найму. Этого вполне хватает. Хотя все понимают, что в будущем расширение неизбежно – своих рук уже сейчас иногда недостаточно. Не смотря на то, что это в первую очередь бизнес, лейбл поддерживает и некоммерческие проекты.  Jens Thele: Мне кажется, что интересным музыку делает только сочетание коммерческой музыки с андеграундной. К сожалению, сейчас такое встречается не часто. Хотя именно это позволяет танцевальной музыке развиваться и не стоять на месте. Большинство же, как обычно, стремится выпускать только уже проверенные вещи. А это рано или поздно приводит к однообразию звучания.  В компании считают, что не существует цены для создания композиции, которая станет хитом. Это просто должна быть хорошая песня. Другой вопрос, что на её запись и продвижение всё же придётся потратиться.  Jens Thele: Работая с талантливыми людьми – можно неплохо сэкономить. В любом случае не стоит заниматься этим только ради денег. Но не скрою, что это приятно, когда то, что ты делаешь, хорошо продаётся.    (3) Точка третья, неизбежная. ПРОФЕССИОНАЛИЗМ  Сейчас уже трудно особо выделить кого-то из артистов – имён слишком много и всех не перечислить. Компания работает с разными музыкальными стилями и может продюссировать кого угодно! В их услуги входит всё – от менеджмента до промоушена. Сотрудничают с ними как известные имена, такие, как ATB, Blank & Jones и Sequential One, так и совсем молодые ребята.  Jens Thele: Мы с самого начала вкладываем только свои средства – это на 100% наш собственный риск. Что заставляет серьёзнее относиться к выбору музыкантов и ко всему, что мы делаем. Но благодаря этому мы ни от кого не зависим и можем поступать так, как посчитаем нужным. Для нас свобода многое значит.  В Kontor records одинаково хорошо работают со всеми артистами. А в этом процессе главное не распыляться на эмоции. Поэтому вряд ли можно выделить кого-то, работа с кем произвела на них особое впечатление.  Jens Thele: Мы стараемся продвигать только самых лучших и перспективных, поэтому каждый день мы могли бы восхищаться друг другом. Но на это просто нет времени. Отстраниться от всего и подумать о том, как всё получилось, можно лишь тогда, когда держишь в руках готовую пластинку.  Они постоянно ищут новые имена. Уверены, что русская музыка сейчас на подъёме. Так что, если бы появилась возможность, поработали бы с некоторыми артистами.  Возможно, скоро что-то и получится.    (4) Точка четвёртая, естественная. ДРУЖЕЛЮБИЕ  Jens Thele говорит, что с одинаковым уважением относится ко всем остальным лейблам. Все они хорошо делают своё дело, иначе танцевальная музыка не получила бы такого признания.  Jens Thele: С большинством артистов мы также дружим. В этом и есть секрет успеха. Однако просто дружбы мало. Можно быть очень хорошим парнем, но ничего не понимать в музыке. С такими мы не работаем. Правда, у нас постоянно происходят изменения. Артисты приходят и уходят. Иногда мы ошибаемся и расстаёмся зазря. Хотя, как правило, просто перерастаем друг друга. Это нормальный процесс, поэтому стараемся ни на кого не обижаться, даже если с кем-то дороги разошлись.    (5) Точка пятая, решающая. ВЕЗЕНИЕ  Что значит быть владельцем записывающей компании, может ответить только тот, кто им является. Scooter) Interview from Dance Planet BASSIX festival [taken from Dance Planet Magazine] 1/ What are you think about Dance Planet?  Axel Coon: There's my debut at such party, so how can I dislike it? It's great that scenes are so high! You're coming and seeing the crowd... Amazing Energy! 2/ What are you think about other DJs performed at Dance Planet?  Axel: I can't select any of them. They are great. Of course Special D very talanted. He's so young but has so big success! I know his records are playing eveywhere and by everyone. But of course his success depends on producer too. 3/ What music groups and styles do u prefer? and why?  Axel: I prefer underground techno. It doesnt make sence to tell their names, because they not release their music, just doing it for theirselves. I like hard techno, and producers who create such music. They work not for money, only for pleasure. 4/ What are you think about USA?  Axel: Political life isn't interesting for me. I don't have free time for it. Untill USA doesn't threat me or my friends, I won't pay attention to USA. 5/ What about your plans for future?  Axel: I will upgrade my skills as DJ and maybe as producer. I've started my carrer so recently - I have many things to raise up. 6/ How do you spend your free time?  Axel: All my free time I spend at the gym with my wife. Scooter) 1/ Что ты думаешь о фестивале Dance Planet?  Axel: Я впервые выступаю сольно на подобной вечеринке, поэтому, как мне может не нравиться? Здорово, что сцены так высоко сделаны! Выходишь, а внизу толпа... Потрясаюший энергетический заряд! 2/ Твоё мнение по поводу кого-нибудь из участников Dance Planet Bassix.  В общем-то я не стал бы выделять никого из участников Dance Planet. Я их всех одинаково уважаю. Конечно Special D - талант. В таком возрасте, и такой успех! Я знаю, что его пластинки крутятся почти везде и у всех. Хотя отчасти это заслуга и его продюссера тоже... 3/ Кто из музыкальных исполнителей другого формата тебе нравится и почему?  Мне нравятся андеграундные исполнители techno-культуры. Называть имена нет смысла, многие из них вообще не выпускают винилы, а просто творят для себя. Мне нравится жёсткое techno и те, кто создаёт эту музыку. Они работают не ради денег, как большинство музыкантов, а ради искусства. 4/ Что ты думаешь об Америке?  Я не интересуюсь политикой, у меня на это нет свободного времени. Пока Америка не представляет угрозы лично мне и моим близким, я к ней никак не отношусь. 5/ Твои ближайшие творческие планы.  Работать над собой, развиваться как диджей и, может быть, как продюсер. Я ведь выступаю сольно относительно недавно, так что буду совершенствовать мастерство. 6/ Как ты проводишь свободное время?  Всё свободное время я провожу в тренажёрном зале со своей женой. Детей у нас пока нет, так что мы качаемся до потери пульса. Тренажёры, штанги, потные загорелые тела... - это для меня на втором месте после написания музыки. 7/ Новость, которая удивит читателей D:PM  Большинство диджеев живёт в обычных городских квартирах или домах, а не на шикарных виллах на Ибице, как многие предполагают. Я хорошо помню, как он расстроился, когда жена заставила его покинуть это трио. Он пришёл ко мне в студию, чуть не плача, и сказал, что хочет записать свой трек. Я предложил ему свою продюсерскую помощь, и... результат вы сами сегодня слышали! HP Baxxter, солист Scooter, - не дурак. На самом деле, он им только прикидывается. Справа вы видите интервью, которое мне любезно предоставил Tony. Он взял его у менеджера Scooter - Jens Thele специально для читателей своего печатного журнала французского фан-клуба.  Послушав микс, который играл Джей меньше месяца назад в рамках "Motorolla mix mission" надо сказать я больше порадовался, чем от его "коммерческих" миксов на Kontor Radio, т.к. весь он был трансовый и не с таким низким bpm. И так скутера поведали нам немного новостей в вчерашнем чате. - след. синглом будет STRIPPED (07.03.05), в новой обработке - новый ДВД диск выйдет осенью этого года - новый альбом выйдет тоже в этом году - след. тур в начале 2006 года - у RATTY тоже будет релиз в этом году - в Россию (!) ребята приедут на MTV DANCE AWARDS - TRANCE-ATLANTIC и PANTIES WANTED будут выпущены скорее всего на виниле! Ну вот... Стоило мне ненадолго пропасть из интернета, как опять пошли какие-то слухи на других сайтах :)  Всё дело в неправильном переводе официального пресс-релиза. Последнюю версию вы можете прочитать справа -->  Забудьте это: -DJs@Work, BB, ATB и т.д. ничего ещё не собрали! В пресс-релизе говориться о доходах с сингла "Reach Out". -рабочее название сингла с "Heart Of Asia" изменено на "Help! Asia". -официальный список участников нового альянса именно такой как я написал справа.

Over the past few days, you will all have been following reports about the worsening earthquake / tsunami disaster in South East Asia. More than over 100,000 dead have been recorded in the affected regions around Thailand and Sri Lanka and the number is still rising.  Two years ago a group of German dance artists joined forces to provide aid. That was also for a flood disaster that affected thousands of people - in Germany. Under the name "Dance United", the group of acts and artists, including ATB, Blank & Jones, Brooklyn Bounce, Scooter and DJs @ Work, collected over EUR 60,000 that certainly represented a valuable contribution to the affected regions.  Now help is needed again and Dance United have reacted fast by reuniting to raise money for the disaster. A track entitled "Help! Asia" is currently being produced by Dance United and is expected to raise as much money as its predecessor "Reach Out". Scooter will do a Remix for the benefit single.
